Lewis Randolph, Pastor
Pastor's Corner
God has blessed our
Antioch church family throughout the past twenty-eight years with a
Pastor who has proven to be an untiring worker, a productive leader and
a true Preacher of the Word, and we are forever thankful.

Pastor Randolph was divinely placed as Antioch's fifteenth Pastor, August
14, 1976. It is virtually impossible to list all of Pastor Randolph's
accomplishments during the past twenty-eight years, so this is just a
synopsis.
Pastor Randolph organized
several auxiliaries including The Voices of Antioch Choir. The Usher Board
#1 and a Concerned Committee with the purpose of reclaiming members who
may have drifted from the church.
A great encourager of his
youth. Pastor ensures major representation to the Western Regional
Conference, Young Peoples Dept., National Baptist Convention, U.S.A., Inc.
Recognizing the importance of the conference, Antioch's Youth participated
in their very first one.
In 1979 with Spiritual
foresight and Pastoral guidance, the Church embarked on a $650,000 major
renovation project, which was paid off in 1998. The result of this project
is evident in our beautiful sanctuary.
Additionally, under the leadership of Pastor Randolph
lots have been purchased for parking, blacktopped, enclosed and lighted
for our safety. In 1991, the church family began another major building
project which includes additional restrooms to the upper level of the
Church, a new state-of-the-art kitchen and a spacious dining facility,
second to none. Totally paid off in 1997.
Evangelism is a primary concern to our Pastor as he led over 3,200 people
to accept the gifts of Salvation through Jesus Christ. He eagerly and
energetically instructs weekly Bible class with great attendance.
He added an 8:00 a.m. worship
Service on Easter Sunday 1997. Antioch continues to support a ministry in
Haiti via Rev. Liveris by contributing finance, clothing and food.
Realizing the significant needs
at home, baskets of food and Bibles are distributed annually in the
Greater Flint Community.
The following men began their
ministry under the leadership of Pastor Randolph: Rev. Albert F. Marks |R.
Pastor, Immanuel Baptist Church, Detroit, Ml, Rev. Otha Hill, Rev. K.
Vaughn, Rev. Cannamore, Rev. Kenneth Casey, Rev. J. Fleming, Rev, Michael
Jones, Rev- Michael Gibson Pastor, Greater Paradise Church, Rev. Bee
Jones, Rev. Kenneth Boykins, Pastor of Dime Baptist Church, Rev. George
Stapleton Pastor, Gracious Grace Baptist Church.
Throughout his twenty-eight years as Pastor, the following men have also
served as Associate Ministers: Rev. Willie Hill; Reverends J. Bridges, D.
White, J. Majors. Hightower, W. Gibbs, P. Warrior. T. Banks, Marion
Collins and Daniel Moore.
We
want our Pastor to remain encouraged, steadfast and unmovable because his
labor is not in vain. There is always a remnant who "catch the vision" and
follow leadership without prompting. 1st Cor. 15:18 We value Pastor,
Marcus, Rodale and grandson.
Thank you for the Christian service rendered to our Antioch family and the
Greater Flint Community. We cannot forget the late Sister Jane in our
hearts we must say gone but not forgotten. Again Pastor Randolph we want
you to know we love you.
